Life after college
Lately, I’ve been seriously worrying about what I’m going to do after I graduate. Currenty…I don’t know. Apparently, the real world is tough. I feel like so many people expect me to have a really clear plan already mapped out. I used to be really ambitious with career goals and such, but I kind of lost any sort of desire to make something out of myself career wise. I really don’t care what job...

outpour of emotions
So maybe (as in I definitely) update this tumblr too often. I can’t help it—especially these days. I’m finished with all my school work and have been pretty much just floating around until I fly home the day after tomorrow. These past few days have been filled with goodbyes and almost tears. I just have dust in both my eyes, guys. Honest. A bunch of people that I care about left...
goodbyes
GOODBYES SUCK. I’m extra sad today as this semester is finally coming to a close. There are about 9 of us staying for the full year, but everybody else is going home for good. A whole new batch of kids are coming in January. So, I’ll have to make new friends, but I’m pretty sure nothing will compare to this semester. Who knows though…I have an open mind. I’ll be...
more hongkong
Yesterday we went to a peak to look out at the Hong Kong skyline. It was really nice, but it was still pretty foggy. We woke up today and had Dim Sum. It was really good. The restaurant was filled with old people haha which is a good sign because they should know where the authentic places are. We walked around the water front and just relaxed for a while taking in the skyline and lovely weather....
i LOVE old people in China. This was in Shanghai. We were on one of the busiest/best streets for shopping and we heard this saxophone music thinking it was a recording till we saw a man on the balcony playing away. This Chinese man decided to ask Allie to dance and the rest is history lol….By the end of this song there was a HUGE crowd around them of Chinese people taking videos and...
HANGZHOU baby
Temple area…
Had an AMAZING day in Hangzhou today. Marco Polo called Hangzhou “the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world” and I must say that Hangzhou is one of my favorite cities in China. I’ve been to a lot of famous cities like Paris, Venice, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Vienna (Beijing obviously) haha and etc, but Hangzhou is a really great city too. I would say that it...

This is going to have to be a short blurb since I have to wake up really early tomorrow, but I just wanted to write a bit about general impressions of cities in China. I’ve been traveling for maybe a week now and we’ve been to Shanghai, Suzhou, and now we are in Hangzhou. It is my second time visiting these cities. The last time I was here was in 2006..some things feel familiar and yet everything...
HAHAHA. don’t mind my insane crazy laugh in the beginning. Anyway, this is a video of me and Shu ziplining down the great wall of china at Si Ma Tai. It was so fun, but my video is really shaky and I don’t know if it really captures the fun especially since we were spinning around weirdly, but anyway it was awesome! =]
